What exactly is a Studio?

A Studio is your own dedicated Windows machine running in the cloud, with an NVIDIA GPU attached. You connect to it from a browser, use it like any PC, and stop it when you're done. Your files and installed apps are exactly where you left them next time.

What do I need to connect?

A browser and a decent internet connection. We recommend 15 Mbps or better, wired or good Wi-Fi. Chrome, Edge and Safari all work, on Mac, Windows, Linux or iPad.

Can I install my own software?

Yes, you have full administrator access. Install anything that runs on Windows. Bring your own licenses for commercial software; your Studio is your machine.

How am I charged?

You top up a prepaid balance (minimum $10). While your Studio runs, its hourly rate is drawn from the balance by the minute. A monthly storage fee keeps your disk while the Studio is stopped. No subscriptions.

What happens when I stop my Studio?

Usage billing stops immediately. Your disk (Windows, apps, projects) is kept safe for the monthly storage fee, and the Studio starts again in about a minute whenever you need it.

Can I get a bigger machine later?

Yes. Upgrade to any larger size in the L4 or L40S ranges, or add storage, keeping all your data. Downgrades aren't possible: to go smaller you'd create a fresh Studio and move files over.

Is my connection secure?

Streams are encrypted end to end, every account uses two-factor sign-in by default, and your Studio is never shared with anyone else.

How do I get the free $10?

Sign up, then make your first top-up of $10 or more. The extra $10 lands in your balance automatically, ready to use on any Studio. New signups only.
